Privacy Policy

TractorSpecs is a free reference site for tractor specifications. We do not require accounts, collect emails, run ad networks, set cookies, or sell data to anyone. The only data we receive about visitors is anonymous, aggregate usage statistics from our hosting provider.

When you visit this site, we receive limited information automatically:

• Anonymous usage data via Vercel Web Analytics and Plausible Analytics — page views, referrer, approximate country (derived from IP, not stored), browser type, and device category. Both providers operate without cookies and without cross-site tracking. Plausible processes this data on servers in the European Union.
• Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent). These logs are managed by Vercel under its own retention policies.

• We do not require user accounts or collect names, emails, or passwords.
• We do not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any first-party cookies.
• We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party ad networks.
• We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with anyone for marketing purposes.

We rely on the following service providers to operate the site. Each processes data only as needed to deliver the service:

• Vercel Inc. (United States) — hosts the website and provides anonymous web analytics. See Vercel's privacy policy.
• Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia, European Union) — provides cookieless, privacy-friendly web analytics. Aggregated analytics data is processed and stored on EU servers. See Plausible's privacy policy.
• Supabase Inc. (United States) — stores the tractor specification database. No visitor or user data is stored in Supabase; it holds only public reference content. See Supabase's privacy policy.

Our hosting infrastructure is operated in the United States. If you access the site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other regions outside the United States, your request data will be processed in the United States by our hosting and database sub-processors. Those sub-processors rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and other safeguards to support such transfers.

Analytics data processed by Plausible Insights OÜ remains in the European Union.

For visitors covered by the EU General Data Protection Regulation or the UK GDPR, we rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) as the legal basis for processing the limited, anonymized usage data described above. Our legitimate interest is operating, securing, and improving a free public reference resource. We have considered visitor privacy interests and use only cookieless, non-identifying analytics for this purpose.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — including rights of access, deletion, correction, and objection.

Because this site does not maintain user accounts or store personally identifying records, we generally hold no data that can be linked to you as an individual. To exercise rights regarding data processed by our sub-processors, please contact them directly using the privacy policy links above. California residents: We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months and have no intention to do so.

This site does not set any first-party cookies. Our analytics providers (Vercel and Plausible) both operate without cookies and do not require a consent banner.

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.
